What it is
For small (<4 cm) renal masses, especially in patients unsuited to partial nephrectomy, image-guided cryoablation or microwave ablation offers a kidney-sparing curative option.

CT/MRI ± biopsy.

Day-case percutaneous ablation under CT guidance, often with an overnight observation.
